The general process for such assessments is:
- Visit your location and observe the processes and people in your value stream.
- Compile data to support level of detail and analysis
- Interview team members and leaders for context on norms.
- Meet with leadership to understand business requirements for target condition.
- Compile, categorize, and rank waste, opportunities or leverage points.
- Offer recommendations, assistance and advice on next steps.
